Description
The plate magnetic separator is an innovative piece of wet separation equipment that integrates magnetic and gravity separation. Specialized in extracting iron-containing contaminants from powders, granules and bulk solids or ore streams, thereby increasing final product purity and improving overall operational efficiency. The plate magnetic separator’s ability to accurately capture ferrous particles ensures the quality and purity of recycled materials while maximizing the recycling process.

Principle
Plate magnetic separators use powerful magnets to attract and capture ferrous materials. The slurry enters the distributor of the magnetic separator through the feed pipe. It is evenly dispersed and scattered on the unloading belt on the upper part of the magnetic plate. The slurry flows downward along the inclined direction of the magnetic plate under gravity, and the ferromagnetic materials in the slurry are firmly adsorbed on the iron unloading belt under the magnetic field. The iron unloading belt rotates along the inclined upper side of the magnetic plate driven by the motor and, at the same time, brings the adsorbed ferromagnetic materials into the iron unloading area. Ferromagnetic materials enter the tailings hopper and are collected under the flushing water; non-magnetic materials flow downward along the magnetic plate and flow into the concentrate hopper.
