Alluvial Gold Mining Process and Equipment
The plant includes a hopper, a trommel scrubber (or a trommel screen), a sluice box, and a water pump. The alluvial gold washing plant can also choose centrifugal concentrator, shaking table, gold furnace and so on according to the mineral conditions.
1. Feeding system
Hopper: with screen and water spray pipe, the screen bar distance can be customized. Used for preliminary screening of materials to remove large particles of ore. The materials are evenly fed into the trommel scrubber or trommel screen.
2. Clay washing system
Trommel (clay) scrubber: suitable for materials containing clay, equipped with a water spray pipe, which can crush and separate clay. The screen further screens the minerals and sends the minerals of suitable particle size to the subsequent mineral processing equipment.
3. Screening system
Trommel screen: used for washing, screening and separation of minerals. The size of the screen can be customized, and there are water spray pipes on both sides.
4. Coarse gold recovery system
Sluice box or vibrating sluice box: light gangue is washed away by the water flow, and heavy gold ore falls to the mining carpet to achieve coarse gold recovery.
5. Fine gold recovery system
Centrifugal concentrator: recovers fine dust gold less than 6mm. There are continuous working models. Shaking table: Recovers fine gold particles. It can be used alone with the washing and screening system, or it can be used to recover concentrate after the coarse gold recovery system.
6. Water supply system
Slurry pump: Supply water to the gold washing plant.
7. Gold smelting furance
Smelt gold sand to make gold nuggets.
